Steven Schaner

I’m a full stack developer that is switching careers to development. I’m passionate about development and learning. I’m currently taking a full stack C# ASP.NET bootcamp with Grand Circus, gaining valuable skills that will help me become a better developer.

Ever since my dad kept telling me to turn off the lights if I’m not using them, I’ve cared about the environment. I’m the person who has a thrill in optimizing my smart thermostat by analyzing the energy history.

I take my drive of continuously learning and saving the environment into development by working with companies that feel the same. I wish to make people’s lives better with smart technology. I am a hard worker that knows when to focus and when to relax. I achieved the rank of eagle scout by being an excellent leader, team member, and volunteer. I'm an excellent team member and leader on the job as well, sharing any knowledge I have to help the team. We are in it as a team to help the client.

When I’m not saving the world through technology, I love to stay active by biking, running, hiking/camping, and working out. You may find me gaming or coding a new site on the PC as well. I also have a need to travel and visit the cultures around the world. You may also find me volunteering to help my community in whatever way I can.
